A unique plum, purple and mauve themed wedding

This color palette is traditional with a twist. The twist being the unusual additional "mauve" color mixed in with the plums and purple shades. Neutral to Warm skin tones are flattered by mauve. If the majority of your bridesmaids indeed have warm skin tones, you might consider dressing them in this unusual color palette. A White bridal gown paired with mauve accents is very sophisticated. Add a splash of gold, sage and magenta to the floral arrangements to further dramatize the majority of plums/purples used throughout the wedding party's garments and your flower arrangements.

A gorgeous wedding of two young people, Jong & Jane!

I think these flower girls are so adorable and the music perfect.

The forget-me-not blue wedding palette

Forget-me-nots and pale yellow roses combined in a Spring bouquet for your wedding.

A wedding bouquet that includes forget-me-nots insures that a groom will always remember his wedding anniversary. Forget-me-nots also look charming when paired with a variety of blooms. Choose white roses and blushing carnations, dyed to match the colors of your bridemaid's dresses , for a traditional early Spring bouquet. You could also pair those tiny blue buds with daffodils for an Easter themed wedding or create a bouquet of forget-me-nots paired ivory magnolias? The scent would be heavenly!
Ivory or any "off-white" color paired with a soft green and brilliant robin's egg blue would make for a memorable vintage wedding day. Choose traditional white stationary trimmed in blue and use a classic grey font. Keep it clean, crisp and simple.

A magenta color palette for weddings in winter and spring

Visit the African Violet Society for more information.
A bridal bouquet made up with Saintpaulia or violets would be unique! These flowers may be grown either indoors or out and may therefore also be available during winter months as well as spring.
My color palette below includes a lighter magenta for the brides maids and perhaps a soft olive green for the mother-of-the-bride. Gentlemen could wear brighter magenta boutonnieres in their buttonholes and bridesmaids could carry violet nosegays too.
Include rich greens with violet flower arrangements; these flatter jewel tone purples, magenta and hot pink.
Print white text on a rich plum papers for your invitations. Silver metallic liners also add an elegant touch to this stationary combination.

Print this magenta palette and take it with you to match up color suggestions.
Suggestions for those of you using Saintpaulia:
"This gorgeous wedding was set with cascading walls of fairy lights. The light illuminated a delicate assortment of purple florals on exquisite silver pintuck tablecloths. Silver charger plates, ornate napkin rings and purple frosted tealights were accentuated by the custom designed stationery. Laser cut menus, custom table numbers and custom designed place cards were adorned with a custom purple wax seal in the couples monogram. The intimate and romantic style our couple strived for was gracefully finished with Limewash Tiffany chairs dressed in crushed taffeta sashes. The vintage lounge space was kept in a muted color palette to complete this timeless and elegant theme."

An antique rose color palette suggestion.

This color combination is not only classic vintage for a spring wedding, but also perfect for the bride who loves pale pinks and salmon colored roses or peony. I've also added a dusty greyish green to this palette for subtle contrast. Make sure greens used together with these blushing pinks do not overpower them. Your florist should know how to exclude harsh combinations. Add a few striking red roses to the bride's bouquet only, in order to set it apart from the flowers carried by her brides maids. Other blossoms in a variety of whites should flatter these shades of pink as well.
Stationary in classic white trimmed with gold embossing and grey text would look very elegant in announcements and invitations for this color scheme, nothing too fussy, just keep it simple.
Groomsmen might wear pale grey suits for a wedding using these spring colors. Add just a touch of the dusty greyish green to their ties, or, perhaps a very pale buff pink shirt to wear beneath their suits would suffice.
Print this palette out and take it with you when you visit your cake designer.
